Hi Folks,
We have recently been doing some more work on the CD on John Paul Jones and we're
quite chuffed with how a lot of the tracks are sounding.  Over the next few months we'll
be adding more musicians as we slowly and surely reach the finished recording.

As you can see from the gig list we're going to be busy toward the end
of the year and the early part of next year.  The Batties will be performing in
August at the Edinburgh Festival so we're taking the opportunity to put on our own
gig at the same time at the St. Brides' Centre.  This will be at 5p.m. on August 22nd.

In September we will be performing at Battlefield Band Newbattle Abbey
Tryst near Edinburgh as well as of course working with the band.

Temple Records will be releasing a retrospective CD of Alan's songs late 2010 or early 2011.
The provisional title is 'Recollection' and Alan is choosing all the material
himself. (it's no' easy says he).

Watch out for more details of our short German tour in December and our
British and German gigs next year.
